Who knew ground beef could be so good?
If you are like me, you get tired of eating the same thing week after week. I have decided to start trying some of the recipes that pop-up on Facebook. I will put the links below each post. I saw a recipe for Hamburger Soup. I’m not sure why I didn’t come up with my own version of this before, but this one never crossed my mind. I decided to try it and let me tell you, it is more than worth the 45 minutes it took for me to make it.
It's gluten free (GF) and because it's full of vegetables. It can be better for you than most soups that are loaded down with creams and carbs, depending on what you add to it. What I like about this one is that it’s as light as you want it to be. I added more potatoes because I wanted to use up what I had on hand. I also served it with white rice and GF cornbread (I’m my father’s child and I have to have rice every day it seems). What a great way to use up all of those veggies that you have on hand, frozen and/or fresh.
I'm happy to say that it turned out just like what was shown in the Facebook post. Try it, you'll like it! The link is below. Try not to limit yourself, play around with this recipe and see what else you can come up with. Enjoy!
